Tradition is very important in the Brixen valley - the horseback procession has been taking place in the Brixen valley for over 300 years. Every year locals and guests alike look forward to this impressive procession with beautifully decorated horses through the valley with approx. 90 horsemen from Brixen, Kirchberg and Westendorf participating. 12.00 noon: The riders from Westendorf and Kirchberg meet outside the churches of their respective villages. 1.00 p.m.: Approx. 90 riders, including the three priests from the parishes of Kirchberg, Brixen and Westendorf meet outside the parish church in Brixen and proceed on their adorned horses from Brixen to the chapel in Klausen, Kirchberg. 2.00 p.m.: The horseback procession passes through Kirchberg and is accommpanied by the brass bands from Kirchberg and Aschau through the town. The priests bless the spectators with the Blessed Sacrament and the riders say the rosary aloud, at various stages throughout the procession. After the gospel readings and blessing at the Klausen chapel, and a short rest, the procession begins the same return route. WARNING: The main road between Kitzbühel and Brixen im Thale is closed from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.!

Village festival: The whole village turns into a big party: entertainment, music, dancing, bars, meat and drink, games for the kids etc. Enjoy a light-heared evening and a wanton mood. Admission fee: 5 € (free admission for children) Free taxi: Taxi Aschaber: starting from 7 pm, then every 30 minutes. In the direction of Aschau to the Fritzhof. The taxi stopps at every bus stop. Taxi Mariacher: unti 1 am, every hour. From Kitzbühel - Stamperl: 6 pm - 7 pm - 8 pm Kalswirt 6.15 pm - Brixnerwirt 6.30 pm and back.

In the afternoon a large number of beautifully decorated flower cars drive through Kirchberg. Live music and the Midsummer Night Disco guarantee great entertainment. Total roadblock due to Kirchberg from 3.00 - 5.00 pm.! Entry Blumencorso: € 5, - Information for bus groups: Exit option for visitors in the center, Threre is a big oarking lot for the busses at the M-Preis supermarket at the west-end of Kirchberg. Group tickets are available by appointment at the Tourist Office - the tourist office in Kirchberg is a day of flower parade from 10: 00-12: 00 clock open!

Autumnal hiking tour from farm to farm with traditional music, culinary delicacies, farm tours, handicrafts, farm-made products and lots more. The farms Niederhasler, Hagleit and Filzerhof open at the Sonnberg mile the doors and offer traditional crafts as well as regional specialties like "Brodakropfn", "Germkiachl", coffee and cake. There is also an entertainment program for young and old. Different music groups makes the entertainment. The Sonnberg mile starts at 10am. At 10 o'clock and 12 o'clock guided hikes offered by the tourist office takes part. Start is at the Gasthof Kalswirt. The Sonnberg is closed for traffic (except residents).
