The KAT Walk also offers two 3-day tours across the Kitzbühel Alps, where you can get a taste of long-distance hiking. The tours are perfect for a long weekend or for people who still want to spend relaxing extended days in the Kitzbühel Alps. Both tours are sections of the KAT Walk Alpine.

KAT Walk Time-Out
The first 3 stages of the KAT Walk Alpin lead from Hopfgarten across the 3 southern side valleys of the Brixental Valley to Aschau. Quiet, unspoilt places invite you to recharge your energy reserves. Here nature is still allowed to be nature, there are no huts to stop at and no mountain lifts. On the 2nd stage, you hike over the summit of the Lodron which provides magnificent views. Culinary delights are not neglected either: 2 of the 4 accommodations are part of "KochArt", an association that focuses on regional dishes.
KAT Walk Connoisseur
The last 3 stages of the KAT Walk Alpine lead from the quiet village of Aschau via the ski resorts of Kitzbühel and St. Johann to St. Ulrich am Pillersee. You will pass several mountain lakes, hike along the famous Streif downhill ski run and make a detour to the striking Kitzbüheler Horn summit. The mountain lifts offer convenient shortcuts on 2 of the 3 stages.
