Stage 3 KAT-BIKE-LIGHT sporty Fieberbrunn – Windautal

The route starts in Fieberbrunn, from where it initially leads gently out of the valley to St. Johann in Tirol. The well-maintained cycle path follows the valley floor and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. From St. Johann, the route continues south through the wide Leukental valley towards Kitzbühel. The landscape changes noticeably here: the valley opens up and the route runs flat and calm along meadows and small villages.After Kitzbühel, the route continues west into the Brixental valley. Passing through Kirchberg in Tirol and rolling hills, you finally reach Westendorf, a lively village with numerous places to stop for refreshments and overnight accommodation. At the edge of the village, the route branches off into the Windau Valley. Here, it becomes much quieter and more alpine: the road narrows, traffic decreases, and a steady climb leads through wooded slopes and alpine pastures deep into the unspoiled valley. With its unspoiled landscape and tranquil atmosphere, the Windau Valley provides an atmospheric conclusion to this stage.
