Winter hike: Campsite Itter

This wintry valley hike starts at the village square in Itter. Via the toboggan run, the trail first descends more steeply through the forest. Soon you reach a beautiful clearing with a meadow covered in deep snow. The trail continues downhill through the forest until you reach the Schlossberg campsite after a few bends.

Once you have reached the bottom, you have a few options. You can either walk back uphill along the same path, across the fish pond to the centre of Hopfgarten or across the wasteland in the direction of Wörgl. Both directions can also be comfortably managed by bus.
