A road bike tour with mountains classification in the Sudelfeld ski area -
a tour which promises culinary as well as environmental highlights.
This tour leads past the picturesque village of Thiersee into the southern Bavarian area where numerous restaurants and inns lure with popular delicacies to stop off – but be careful, not everyone tolerates roast pork on such a long tour. The tour starts in Wörgl, at the parish church. Go along the main road in eastern direction and cycle via Kirchbichl to Kufstein. Cross the river Inn and follow the signpost to Thiersee. After the first climb (below 10%) go past the idyllic lake Thiersee and continue via Landl and over the German border to Bayrischzell. Turn to the right there and follow the German Alpenstraße uphill to Sudlfeld. (1109m). Then the tour goes speedily downhill to the popular Tatzelwurm. Via Rechenau and Seebach, Wall and Agg you get to the road to Rosenheim which you follow in southern direction to Oberaudorf and Kiefersfelden. Cross the border and keep to the right after the roundabout in Kufstein. Now follow the road to Schaftenau and Langkampfen and finally go along the Inn Valley cycling path back to Angath and to Wörgl.

Arrival From Innsbruck/Munich: A12 exit Wörgl Ost - take the B171 Wörgl/Wildschönau feeder road - after approx. 500m take the 2nd exit at the roundabout - continue for approx. 1km through Wörgl and past the church - the tourist office is on the right-hand side.

From Kitzbühel: B170 through Brixental - after passing through Hopfgarten continue approx. 4km to roundabout, take 3rd exit - continue on feeder road B178 exit towards Wörgl - drive through Loferer Straße until exit on feeder road B171 towards Wörgl - after 500m at roundabout take 2nd exit - continue approx. 1km through Wörgl and past the church - the tourist office in on the right-hand side
