Due to its free-standing position, the Hohe Salve offers a 360° panoramic view which is without equal. You can see the numerous glaciers of the Hohe Tauern and the Zillertaler Alps rise high above the Kitzbühel Alps in the south while in the north, your eye might reach as far as Munich on clear days. The path from the peak of the Hohe Salve down to Kraftalm leads past the radio mast to the summit cross from where you are granted amazing views down to Hopfgarten. Over a sunny ridge a bendy trail leads downhill to the alpine inn Rigi then on to the alpine pasture Kälberalm and finally, through the forest, to KRAFTalm.
