Wörgl Water Worlds - WAVE - closed

The adventure pool in Holiday Region Hohe Salve

The Wörgl Water Worlds - "Wörgler Wasserwelten" was closed by the municipality of Wörgl at the end of August 2021. Thank you for the last 18 years, dear WAVE!

Wörgl Water World, also known as Wave, is located on the outskirts of Wörgl and provides plenty of swimming fun whatever the weather. Whether it is in the adventure pool, the Roman ‘Saunaresidenz’ and the salt water pool - the biggest and loveliest adventure pool in Holiday Region Hohe Salve offers an exceptional leisure experience. With three stand-alone adventure realms and the only double looping slide in the world ‘L2’, Wave inspires all the family.

Wave in Wörgl is incredibly versatile and provides an action-packed and relaxing swimming area for everyone. Plunge into the wave pool, speed down the looping slide or relax on the bubble lounger in the heated indoor & outdoor area. Children will look forward to the pirate ship and the play stream that is in the shade. For anyone who prefers things to be a little more sporty, a 25m sports pool has six lanes. The full adventure programme is not just there to be enjoyed on wet weather days, even in the summer Wave is great fun.

Visitors really appreciate the versatile offer available in Wörgl Water World and the combination of relaxation and adventure. Experience very special pure relaxation and wellness in the three well-being oases. The Roman ‘Saunaresidenz’ in Wave is one of the loveliest public saunas in all of Tirol. On an area spanning over 2000 metres square you can enjoy a sauna there, just like the Romans did. In the indoor and outdoor area you can choose from a selection of different saunas, steam baths, lagoons and relaxation areas. A visit to Isla Sola is a special experience too, a salt water pool with activated salt. Southern Asiatic style wellness can be enjoyed in the Bathai area. The bamboo garden, relaxation areas and heat cabins will whisk you off to far-off realms. Use of Isla Sola and Bathai is included in all entry tariffs.
