The church ruins Hörbrunn
The church ruins Hörbrunn are a special, historic place in Hopfgarten. But today it’s hard to imagine that at this so secluded location between Hopfgarten and Kelchsau once stood a successful glassworks. The church ruins are on the one hand a monument to the aspiring era of glass production and at the same time bears witness to its downfall. The planned Hörbrunn church was never completed due to economic difficulties.
Retrace the history of the church ruins. The historic location can be reached via an easy hike and combined with a wonderfully scenic round tour across Glantersberg Mountain.
