Event information

The starry sky in dark, remote Tyrolean mountain valleys is an unforgettable sight.
At this evening event we observe the starry sky from the head of a valley in the Kitzbühel Alps, far away from the light sources of the nearest settlements:
Up to 3000 stars can be seen here with the naked eye, in bright big cities it is often less than 100 due to light pollution. Some people have never seen the bright band of our galaxy, the Milky Way, before.
Our walking guide and also star guide Tobias, will lead you with a portable telescope on this spectacular excursion.
Learn about the most important constellations and their myths and try your hand at observing planets, stars, galaxies and cosmic nebulae.
