High above the picturesque market town of Hopfgarten there is the Angerle Alm mountain pasture.
After a leisurely hike (approx. 1,5hrs), partly on ashphalt partly on gravel, our hiking guide leads you then through the forest to the Angerle Alm. There, on the alpine pasture, you will experience a genuine way of food production. After enjoying juicy alpine grass and spicy herbs the cows produce the best milk from which high-quality natural products are made.
So nothing stands in the way of a delightful day. Discover the Angerle Alm, make your own curd cheese and taste the different types of cheese.
