Morning Flow Yoga
In 1932/33, Wörgl was the scene of an economic experiment that attracted much attention worldwide: the Wörgl free money. In the midst of the world economic crisis, the then mayor, Michael Unterguggenberger, decided to print regionally valid money. The money was to be used to finance infrastructure measures that would revive the local economy and alleviate the suffering of the population. On the stations of the “Freigeldwanderweg” (free money trail) you will visit historical sites and buildings of the Wörgl money experiment, including Unterguggenberger's former home, which today houses a small museum and the Unterguggenberger Institute. Come with us on a walk through a fascinating piece of Wörgl's contemporary history that still inspires today.
