Mountain hike to Steinbergstein 2,209 m

Torhelm Gipfelkreuz

The Steinbergstein with its 2,209 m has plenty of variety to offer. One the one hand, reaching the summit requires a certain level of fitness. The many impressions of the varied landscape spanning from the pasture areas to the fields of rock far above the timber line make up for everything. The virtually deserted peak also has some surprises in store. Often you can spot otherwise rarely seen Alpine dwellers. On the way back you should stop off at the likely best-known dialect poet of the Kitzbüheler Alpen "Sepp Kahn" on the Lärchenbergalm Alpine Pasture Hut.
