Austria's Hiking Seal of Approval for the Brixental Valley
Austria`s Association of Quality Assurance sets its goals, on one side its responsibility to tourism and on the other its support to enthusiastic active hiking guests. Based on the results of guest surveys over many years, the findings have initiated the new quality assurance programme, hence the "Austrian Hiking Seal of Approval".
The assessment takes place in three phases
The location's own survey must be carried out. The client receives a development-orientated criteria from which he evaluates the hikes. This can also be considered a type of inventory. Then the first experts are called upon to give an overview on-site, summarising their findings in a report. The last section requires a closer look at the finer details, which must also be recorded in digital form. Finally, if all the criteria have been met, the Austrian Hiking Seal of Approval is awarded.
