Wiegalm Circuit

Starting at the tourist office in Brixen im Thale, we cycle to the Erlensee fishing pond, from where we follow the Brixental cycle path No. 21 to the district of Winkl. From here, MTB route 210 begins, which leads along the Brixenbach stream up to the Wiegalm pasture. Past the turnoff to the Brixenbachalm snack station, the trail is relatively easy to master for the time being. Partly in the shade of the trees, partly at the mercy of the sun, the gravel path then winds its way up to the Wiegalm snack station. Here we can fortify ourselves with a traditional meal for the descent via route 257 or the very demanding Wiegalm single trail. Along Alpine meadows (Route 257) or through steep forest terrain, we finally reach Kirchberg. From here, the Brixental cycle path leads us back to Brixen im Thale.
