Tour information

Our starting point for route 265 is the tourist office in Brixen im Thale. After about 300m on the main road towards Westendorf, turn right up the Brixner Sonnberg. Along an asphalt road, past mountain meadows and with a good overview of the Brixental valley, we reach Gasthof Nieding. Approx. 500m after Nieding, the asphalt road changes into a good gravel road. It is not far now to the upper mountain lift station and soon we reach the Filzalm Lake, an ideal destination for the whole family. Here the path goes to the right past the lake to Hochsöll. Past the Silleralm, the path leads through a forest mostly downhill to Hochsöll and Hexenwasser (also a refreshingly exciting world of adventure for young and old). Straight ahead, after a few metres uphill, the descent along an asphalt road to Söll begins. To get to the Söllandl cycle path, we have to cross the main road and cycle through the centre of Söll. Mostly flat, the easy cycle path leads us towards Wörgl. After a few kilometres we then have to cross the main road again and following a short climb, reach the small village of Itter. After the descent we have to cycle a few metres to the right to get to the Brixentaler cycle path. This leads us back to Brixen via Hopfgarten, the Windautal and Westendorf.
