"Straubing Route"

This easy/moderate tour begins at the tourist information office in Westendorf from where we take the Brixental Cycle Route No. 21 in the direction of Jagerhäusl, as far as the Waldkapelle (chapel).  Keeping to the right at the chapel, follow the road to the Lendwirt Inn.  From this point, we cycle alongside the Windauer Ache (river) in the direction of the Jagerhäusl Inn.  Shortly before the inn, take a sharp right-hand turn onto a steep incline namely the MTB-Route 207.  This steep climb is over before we know it and soon see the turn-off for the Käsealm Straubing. Those who would like to take a break here can do so while enjoying a small snack board (brettljause) and taking in the beautiful surroundings.  On our descent, we begin to feel the asphalt under our wheels again. After a short distance we arrive at the Lendwirt Inn once more, from where we make the return journey to the tourist information office.
