Road bike tour to St. Johann

We start this 40.8 km road bike tour to St. Johann in Tyrol and back at the tourist office in Brixen im Thale. As the roads are mostly very flat, occasionally a little hilly, this round trip is not overly demanding and easy to manage. On the main road we head towards Kirchberg and after Bockern we turn into the small village of Spertendorf. After cycling through Kirchberg, we continue towards Kitzbühel. Shortly before the Schwarzsee lake, we have to turn left and arrive in the direction of Reith bei Kitzbühel. Always following the road, we pass the Gasthof Reinache. After a few hundred metres, a cycle path connects us to the main road, on which we continue to the right in the direction of St. Johann. At the turnoff to Weitau, we turn left. After a few hundred metres, a cycle path leads us to the right over a bridge towards Oberndorf. Passing the “Lebenshilfe” (Social Services Organisation), we reach the Gasthof Reinache again having cycled through a forest. From here we return to Brixen as usual.
