Racing Bike Tour: The Lakes – Kramsach

This 76 km tour takes us through the lower Inn valley to Kramsach.  The hilly terrain is excellent for improving your condition.  Departing from the Tourist Information Office in Westendorf, join up with the main road and after a short descent arrive in the town of Hopfgarten.  From here we take the quieter old road to Bruckhäusl where we use the railway underpass and continue onwards towards Wörgl.  At Steinbruch the road takes us off to the right which brings us on to Kirchbichl.  From here we cycle via Niederbreitenbach to Mariastein.  Continuing straight-ahead over beautiful hilly roads we come to Breitenbach and shortly afterwards we reach Lake Reintal and Lake Krumm.  After a short descent we arrive in the little village of Kramsach followed by Rattenberg, Austria’s oldest town.  Along the Inn’s cycle path, we reach Wörgl enroute back to Bruckhäusl.  Via Hopfgarten and the Windau valley we cycle back to Westendorf.  All in all a beautiful racing bike tour.
