Nachtsöllberg – Westendorf’s local mountain

 This fantastic hike on Westendorf’s local mountain offers many possible combinations! Lots of inviting mountain huts along the routes, with magnificent scenery, await your visit.  Beginning from the centre of Westendorf, you can walk along the Pfarrgasse, and on quiet roads, hike up the Nachtsöllberg mountain.  This route can also be taken for the return journey or alternatively you can take a pleasant trip with the gondola back down to the valley. Of course another option is to take the gondola up to the middle station and walk from there down to the village. Extra care should be taken for the first 500 m (as far as the Maierhof Restaurant) as this route is actually a ski track.
