Kitzbühel Lakes Circuit - MTB tour for kids in the Brixen Valley

This tour is not particularly long, but you can choose to spend more time along this route. Especially when it's nice and warm in Summer, several lakes and ponds encourage you to linger. There are also several places to stop for refreshments along the way, so you and your family can really enjoy yourselves on this excursion.
Start in Kirchberg from where you first cycle comfortably along the Aschauer Ache towards Kitzbühel. When you see the golf course, you have almost reached your first destination: a short distance alongside the railway tracks and you can already enjoy the view of the picturesque Schwarzsee, which entices you to take a first dip in the cool water or at least take a break with an idyllic panorama.
After you have cycled around the Schwarzsee, the route takes you up to the Steuerberg, where you can stop at the inn of the same name and then enjoy the impressive view of the Wilder Kaiser. Three picturesque ponds follow one after the other: the Hasenberg Weiher, the Vogelsberger Weiher and the Gieringer Weiher. The Gieringer Weiher, in particular, is a real insider tip. Here, a small restaurant with a terrace and bathing facility encourages you to take a long break. The way back leads past the Schwarzsee again, then you return to Kirchberg along the same cycle path as on the outward journey.
