Kasplatzl - Gerstinger Joch

The starting point for this chosen route is the Hintenbachalm or Kasplatzl in the Unterer Grund in Aschau near Kirchberg.
From the car park hike along the gravel road in several serpentines to the Hintenkaralm and on to the Hintenkar Hochalm. Continue behind the Hochalm on a beautiful Alpine path to the Hinterkarscharte and then to the left across beautiful Alpine areas and high moors over different levels of terrain to the summit of the Gerstinger Joch (2,035m).
