From Kirchberg to Aschau

The hike begins in the village centre on the Promenadenweg, along the river in the direction of Spertental as far as the Gaisbergbrücke (bridge).  Here, we cross the Spertentalerstraße and arrive shortly at the Obwiesen car park.  Continue alongside the river to the Blattlwald (woods), where there’s an adventure park and children’s playground to be found.  After this pleasant forest section, which displays nature from its best side, we arrive at a bridge and turn left. Approximately 10 minutes later, we reach the Gasthof Skirast.  From this point we walk a short distance along the road before a beautiful hiking path leads us into the romantic village, Aschau.
