Brantlalm round-trip hiking trail

From the mountain-top station Hochbrixen we walk straight ahead past the Skiwelthütte, here the path is slightly downhill. At the fork in the trail, turn left and follow the road uphill until you reach the Brantlalm junction, where you turn left again. After about 5 minutes we reach the mountain inn Brantlalm, here there is a playground for children and some animals to look at, a beautiful sun terrace entices us to stay. After a short rest we continue our hike below the hut. We follow this path, which is peppered with many stations, until we reach the Filzalmsee, which invites us to swim on hot days and offers children lots to play with and let off steam. For tired legs there is a moor bath and a vibrating machine to loosen up the muscles, then we continue on a wide path back to the gondola at  Hochbrixen.
