Biketour Hopfgarten via the Glanterer Kogel to Westendorf

We start this tour (294) in Hopfgarten in the Brixental Valley. We follow the main road towards Kitzbühel and leave it directly at the large sawmill and follow routes 227/228 Glantersberg / Ölbank. At the "Toif" Hof where the road goes downhill again towards Kelchsau, we turn left uphill and the road changes into a gravelled Alpine path later on.  Arriving just below the Glantererkogel (1,434m), you have to push your bike a few metres to where we connect with the Windau valley. Then it's a swift run down to the Angerla Alm. Shortly afterwards we come to a fork in the road:
• Turn right towards Kinzlinger Alm / Käsealm Straubing / Gasthaus Jägerhäusl in Windautal / Westendorf.
• Turn left towards Schwaigerberg / Lendwirt. At the Schwaigerberg the road forks again: to the left we go via the Gruberberg to Hopfgarten (No. 274), to the right via the Schwaigerberg to the Lendwirt and from there a short steep ascent to Westendorf awaits us.
