The unique instrumentation of the vienna clarinet connection, based on a string quartet, allows for a colourful palette of sounds as well as an exciting balance between soloistic individuality and chamber music interplay. The four musicians create an inspiring symbiosis of composed and improvised music with elements from classical, jazz, pop and also Viennese music. The ensemble, founded in 1995, has remained true to the concept of fluid transitions between styles to this day. Joint projects with the Volksoper Big Band and the Vienna State Ballet are an expression of the quartet's versatility, and the vienna clarinet connection has also performed at venues such as the Konzerthaus Wien, the Musikverein Wien, the Brucknerhaus Linz, the Salzburg Festival, the Tonhalle Zürich, the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Festivalhaus Bregenz.

The newcomer trio "Wiener G'schichten", founded in autumn 2021, consists of the Upper Austrian mezzo-soprano Helene Feldbauer and the "Duo Minerva" (the Tyrolean clarinettist Johanna Gossner and the Voralberg accordionist Damian Keller), which has already been successful since 2016. The humorous and multi-faceted Wienerlied, melancholic and at the same time an expression of pure joie de vivre, conveys the attitude to life of this world-famous city. A mixed set of well-known Viennese Schmäh, stories of love, Vienna and Viennese delicacies, newly arranged and still traditional.
