Did you know that, with 7.9 million litres of milk per year, Hopfgarten and Kelchsau are the second-strongest milk producers in Tyrol? No? Then join our hiking guide Elke on a hike to an alpine dairy in the Kelchsau area. Summer in the Tyrolean mountains goes with a lot of tradition, customs and passion and is characterized by a harmonious relationship of people, animals and nature. It is not enough for you to see where the milk comes from but you would also like to taste the delicacies made from it? It is good then, that the Niederkaseralm lies on the way because there you'll be introduced into the tradition of cheese making on a guided tour.
NOTE! Meeting place is not starting point of the tour. We are happy to organise a taxi shuttle (at cost), or you can travel to the starting point by private car.

Train: from Wörgl Central station to Hopfgarten Berglift | dep.: 09:22 a.m. – arr. 09:33 a.m. (free of charge with guest card)
Latest registration: by 05.00 p.m. the day before online or in the tourist information offices of the Holiday Region Hohe Salve
Cost with Kitzbüheler Alpen guest card: EUR 6,00 per person (for tour of Niederkaseralm and cheese tasting)
Cost without Kitzbüheler Alpen guest card: EUR 24,00 per person (for tour of Niederkaseralm and cheese tasting)
