Evening picnic hike on the Hohe Salve

Experience a marvellous panoramic hike on the Kleine and Hohe Salve!
We start in Hopfgarten with a shared bus journey to the Salvista cable car to Itter (guest card = bus ticket; please don't forget it!). After a short gondola ride to the middle station, the hike actively begins from here. From here the route leads up to the Kleine Salve reservoir at an altitude of 1,565 metres. The panoramic view of the surrounding mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps is unique. Here, the picnic gear is taken out and time is allowed to stand still for a while. After a refreshing snack, the hike continues on foot back down into the valley to Hopfgarten.

Meeting point: At 15:45 at the Hopfgarten information office, Brixentaler Straße 41, 6361 Hopfgarten im Brixental
Registration: by 16:00 the day before or at the information offices of the Hohe Salve region
Equipment: good footwear, hiking clothing, enough to drink
Cost with/without guest card: € 6,00 per person (excl. ascent on the Salvista cable car)
Duration: approx. 4 hours
Participants: min. 2 to max. 10
Difficulty level: moderately difficult
Note: only in good weather, the gondola ticket must be purchased in advance at the Hopfgarten gondola station by each participant for the Salvista cable car
