Tour information

The route begins in the centre of Westendorf, although there are several more starting points and parking opportunities along the way.  Passing through the district of “Unterdorf”, we arrive at the “old football pitch”.  Turn to the left and continue straight ahead as far as the outdoor swimming pools. Turn to the right at this point and run in the direction of the “Aunerhof”.  Once here, continue straight ahead completing the so-called “Aunerschleife” (Auner Circuit), arriving back again at the “Aunerhof”.  This time run alongside the golf course grounds ie. through the woods and after approx. 10 mins we arrive on an asphalt road. Keep to the left, passing the “Waldhofkapelle” (chapel) and cross the Windau road. The Driving Range is to our left and shortly afterwards we reach an asphalt road at the “Dreiländerhaus”.  Now you can choose to take the steep route to the right, along a forest trail, arriving on the Oberwindau road. Then it’s a short distance downhill to the “Alpenrosenbahn” cable car station, and onwards to Westendorf’s village centre. An alternative to those who don’t want the uphill climb- continue straight ahead at the “Dreiländerhaus”, following the route to Holzham/Ortszentrum (village centre).
